1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Use govern access to this website and the COHIVO founding-pilot waitlist. By using the site or submitting the form, you agree to these terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, do not use the site or submit the form.
2. What this site provides
The site provides information about an early-stage product and allows organizers to express interest in a founding pilot. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee acceptance, a launch date, features, sponsorship, rewards or continued availability.
COHIVO may change, pause or discontinue the site, waitlist or pilot at any time.
3. Eligibility and accurate information
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into an agreement to submit the founding-pilot form. You agree to provide accurate information and not impersonate another person or organization.
4. Acceptable use
You may use the site only for lawful, legitimate purposes. You must not:
- interfere with the site or attempt unauthorized access;
- submit malicious code, automated spam or misleading information;
- scrape, copy or exploit the site in a way that harms COHIVO or other users;
- infringe intellectual-property, privacy or other rights; or
- use the site to promote unlawful, harmful or deceptive activity.
5. Intellectual property
The COHIVO name, site design, copy, product concepts and other materials are owned by or licensed to COHIVO and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms give you a limited, revocable right to view and use the site for its intended purpose. They do not transfer ownership or grant a licence to use COHIVO branding.
6. Information and feedback you submit
You retain ownership of information and ideas you submit. You give COHIVO permission to use the submitted information to respond to you, evaluate pilot fit, plan the pilot and improve the product.
Do not submit confidential business information, private member information, health information, financial data or content you do not have permission to share.
7. No fitness or medical advice
The website describes community challenges but does not provide medical, health, training or safety advice. Organizers and members remain responsible for appropriate professional advice, risk assessment, participant safety and compliance with applicable rules.
8. Third-party services
The site relies on third-party providers, including Netlify for hosting and form processing. Those providers operate under their own terms and policies. COHIVO is not responsible for third-party systems outside its reasonable control.
9. Disclaimers
The site and waitlist are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, COHIVO disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy and error-free operation.
Nothing in these terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, COHIVO will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data or business interruption arising from the site or waitlist. COHIVO’s total liability relating to the site will not exceed CAD $100.
These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Toronto, Ontario will have exclusive jurisdiction, unless applicable consumer law requires otherwise.
12. Changes and contact
We may update these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. Questions can be sent to hello@cohivo.app.
